CALLING ALL PROUD ONCOLOGY NURSES!
The 2012 Oncology Nursing Video is coming!
Get your colleagues together and start brainstorming! We want to know why you love oncology nursing! Tell us a story, show us your goofy coworkers, do a dance, inspire us! Full details will be available on the Oncology Nursing Month website in early February, but here are a couple of details to get you started.
- Submission deadline: APRIL 1, 2012
- Limit video length by 3-5 minutes (3 minutes is best)
- You (not ONS) need to own the rights to any music you use (google "Royalty Free" for music that is not copyrighted.
- Videos can be funny, serious, uplifting or any combination just show us your love for oncology nursing!
Two winners will be chosen and will receive an ONS educational product. The first winner will be the one with the most views. The second will be named "ONS staff favorite". All submissions will receive a "party pack" to help celebrate Oncology Nursing Month in May.

Conference/ Certification Reimbursement |

WNY ONS is offering Conference and Certification Reimbursment:
Five scholarships will be available annually for a maximum reimbursement of $300 for each approved application an ONS Conference.
Five scholarships will be available annually for a maximum reimbursement of $250 for each approved application for Certification/recertification.
· Must be an active ONS and WNYONS Member in good standing for > one year
· Must not have received reimbursement through WNYONS in the past year
· Request for Reimbursement will be issued for:
ü Oncology Certifications and recertification through ONCC
ü Attendance at a ONS Annual Congress
ü Attendance at ONS APN/IOL
